Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship

The Fulbright-Hays DDRA Fellowship is available to doctoral students studying modern foreign languages and areas studies. To be considered for this fellowship, you must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident who is planning to pursue a teaching career upon graduation. This program provides grants to colleges and universities to fund individual doctoral students who conduct research in other countries, in modern foreign languages and area studies for periods of six to 12 months. Applicants should apply directly through their institution. Selected recipients will receive travel expenses, cost of living allowance, project allowance for research expenses, and health insurance/accident coverage.
