Description
The Latino Studies Scholars Program is available to incoming freshman students at the University of Notre Dame who have demonstrated leadership in the U.S. Latino community through their family, church, school, or nonprofit organization. This award is open to Latino and non-Latino students. Scholars participate in summer enrichment experiences in Latino communities and enroll in two courses related to Latino studies. Additionally, scholars will participate in a team-building trip, speaker series, seminars, internships and discussions with national leaders in politics, science, education, and the arts.
