Tanette Goldberg Memorial Scholarship for Social Justice

The Tanette Goldberg Memorial Scholarship for Social Justice is available to Jewish, female undergraduate and graduate students who are studying or working to achieve social justice. To be considered for this award, you must be a permanent resident of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma County. Preference will be given to students working in the following areas of social justice, which are priority areas for the National Council of Jewish Women: reproductive rights, voting rights, prevention of human trafficking and advocacy for victims, family safety, women's and children's rights in the U.S. and Israel, and empowerment programs for low-income girls and women in transition.
