The Leon "Tom" Thomas Salute to Learning Scholarship is open to incoming first-year college students . You must have been accepted to a non-four year degree at a trade school, community college, or junior college, submit a letter of recommendation and a 1,000 word essay on what area or profession you want to go into and why, in order to be considered for this award. ​
