CFDA Design Scholar Award
Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA)
The CFDA Design Scholar Award is available to junior-level undergraduate and first-year graduate students who are who are enrolled in a fashion design program at an American college or university. To be considered for this award, you must submit a digital portfolio containing a collection and all phases of design development. Submissions should show a strength in one or more of the following areas: 360 DEI: Accessibility, Equitable Fashion Systems, Fashion Activism, Inclusivity, Social Justice; Image Making: Art Direction, Curation, Illustration; Sustainability: Economy, People, Planet; Tech/Digital/Craft: 3D/Creative Technical, AR/ VR, Fashion NFTs, Material Innovation, Pattern Making. Selection will be based on portfolio clarity and strength of vision, identity, creatively, and acumen.
