The Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP) is available to senior-level undergraduate/technical school students and recent college graduates who are studying electrical engineering, software development, broadcast/video/audio production, IT, software engineering, cybersecurity, data science/analytics, or other technical field. You must be at least 18 years of age, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for technology to be considered for this fellowship. As a fellow, you will receive a technical education about engineering and technology in the broadcast, news, and media industry from highly regarded professionals. You will also receive a $500 stipend based on completion of program modules and attendance throughout program, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner training, a Society of Broadcast Engineers training certificate, live production training in the cloud with Grabyo, career development opportunities to network with leading technology talent in the broadcasting industry, and access to mentorship and growth opportunities to professional development. This fellowship is offered remotely with an in-person closing session at the NAB show.
