The HBCU Sustainable Communities Initiative Scholarship Program is available to African American junior-level undergraduate students majoring in Agriculture, Engineering, Technology, Environmental & Conservation Sciences, Sustainability Studies, City/Community/Urban Planning, Architecture, Applied Sciences, Information Technologies, or Business Administration. You must have a passion for creating more sustainable communities and be enrolled in a UNCF member institution in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Virginia to be eligible for this award. Additionally, you must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 and be a U.S. citizen. Selection is based on an essay submission, academic merit, and involvement in leadership roles and activities.
