Description
The Bo Partin Jr. Memorial Scholarship is open to seniors or graduates of either Hopewell High School, Prince George High School, Thomas Dale High School or Maggie Walker & Appomattox Regional Governor School (whose home school would have been one of the above mentioned high schools). You must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and demonstrate academic success, strong record of community service, and strong leadership qualities in order to be considered for this award. You must also submit a short essay describing what type of leader you are, what type of leader you want to be and how you plan on getting there. Preference is given to students attending or planning to attend the Virginia Military Institute with plans to major in Business/Economics or engineering.
