The Ron Brown Scholarship is available to Black / African - American high school seniors who are academically talented, highly motivated, and planning to pursue an undergraduate degree on a full - time basis. You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and demonstrate excellent academics, exceptional leadership potential, financial need, and an impact on your community through activities and service to others.
