Description
The Military Family Support Trust Scholarship is available to high school seniors in Florida who have a parent, guardian, grandparent, or great - grandparent who meets one of the following criteria: A Retired, Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve Officer; a Former Officer of the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, i.e. Officers (O-1 thru O-10), Warrant Officers (WO-1 thru WO-5) and Noncommissioned Officers (E-5 thru E-9); an Officer who died while on active duty; Purple Heart recipient. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate superior leadership skills in school and / or community activities to be eligible for this award.
