Description
The Isiah Thomas Sports and Entertainment Scholarship is available to full - time undergraduate and graduate students at Florida Memorial University. You must be pursuing a career in sports journalism, entertainment, or communications; be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; and have minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award. You must also submit an 800 - to 1000 - word essay on the following topic: "What are three reasons you would like to pursue a career in sports journalism or entertainment, and what do you hope to be your legacy as a journalist?"
