Applicants must be studying in the fields of physical, occupational, speech or hearing therapy, special education, social work or any branch of the medical profession. The award is open to high school seniors through graduate level students who have been residents of Dubois County for at least six months prior to application. Dubois County teachers wanting to return to college to obtain a license in any of the occupations mentioned are also eligible. The $1,000 contingent scholarship will be paid in the amount of $250 each year up to four years, provided the recipient remains in good standing in school.
