Description
The Retired Enlisted Association National Scholarship is available to students whose parent, grandparent, or great grandparent is a member in good standing of The Retired Enlisted Association or the National Auxiliary. To be considered, you must submit a 300 - word essay on the following topic: "Referencing the poem by Emma Lazarus that is on the Statue of Liberty, does the United States still welcome the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to breathe free? Should the United Stated continue to open its shores to people like the Syrian refugees that are at the center of such conflict?"
