The Henry Belin du Pont Dissertation Fellowship is open to PhD students who will benefit from the use of the Hagley Museum and Library's research collections, especially in the history of business, technology and society. You must have completed all course work for your doctoral degree and are conducting research on your dissertation. Additionally, you must demonstrate superior intellectual quality, present a persuasive methodology for the project, and show that there are significant research materials at Hagley pertinent to the dissertation. Fellowships are conducted in-residence for four months. Fellows are provided a stipend, free housing on Hagley's grounds, use of a computer, mail and internet access, and an office. A dissertation prospectus, statement of intent, two letters of recommendation, and writing samples are required.
