Description
The AKA-ELO Scholarship Award for Overcoming the Odds is available to college bound African-American students. To qualify for this award, you must be residing or attending school in the Pasadena, Altadena or San Gabriel Valley area and have an identified disability, health, or mental health condition requiring early intervention, special education services, or other specialized services and support (i.e. a type of learning disability such as ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.)
