The Frederick Douglass Scholarship (formerly Transfer Academic Excellence Scholarship) is available to students who have completed the Associate of Arts degree (or the entire first two years of courses for their major) at a Maryland community college and plan on transferring to the University of Maryland, College Park. You must have a minimum 3.5 GPA to qualify for this award. The scholarship covers in-state tuition and fees for two years of study.
