Description
The Stanley J. Tarver Memorial Scholarship is available to graduate students from Dutchess County. You must be of African descent - African-American or a black person of another nationality - matriculating towards a doctorate or masters degree in African history or culture. You must have completed at least one year of graduate studies to be eligible for this award. Three letters of recommendation and a personal essay are required with your application.
