AIDS Prevention Studies Fellowship
Center for AIDS Prevention Studies
The AIDS Prevention Studies Fellowship is available to individuals who have earned a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and intend to pursue studies related to the prevention of AIDS. You must be pursuing an academic or public health career and, if selected, fulfill a "service payback" commitment by serving an additional 12 months of NIH-supported research training or an equal number of months of health-related research or training. Fellows who have already earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree of its equivalent may complete the program in two years; those who do not have an MPH degree will be required to complete the MPH degree at UC Berkeley in the first year, followed by two years of research training.
