The Kinesiology, Health & Sports Studies Scholarship is open to students in a kinesiology, health, and sports studies major at Wayne State University who have earned at least 12 hours in professional course work. Preference is given to students who plan on working in an urban setting. Minority students are encouraged to apply. To be considered for this award, you must have an GPA of 3.5 or higher, evidence of leadership and potential for becoming an outstanding educator, high academic performance, commitment to your professional area, a record of service to one or more urban schools or community organizations and evidence of financial need.
