NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship is open to students pursuing a research-based master's or doctoral degree in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields supported by NSF. To be considered for this award, you must be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident. You must also be a graduating senior; have completed a B.S./B.A. degree; or are in their 1st year or the first semester of their 2nd year in graduate school. The award is based on all available documentation of ability, including academic records, recommendations regarding your qualifications and GRE scores. The fellowships are intended for students in their senior year of college or first or second year of graduate study.
