Scholarship providers often add social media components to scholarships, which is right up your alley. These opportunities to pay for college are for high school and college students. The cool thing about these awards is that entries can vary from tweets and short essays to creating and sharing videos and photos on your social media accounts. TikTok and Facebook, Twitter or YouTube--Whatever your social media platform preference, there’s probably a scholarship that follows your social media skills! $5,000 Discover Student Loans Scholarship

Deadline: 10/31/20
Available to: High School Seniors through College Seniors
Award Amount: $5,000 Students and parents can enter to win a $5,000 scholarship from Discover Student Loans to help pay for college. No essay or lengthy application required. One winner will be randomly chosen every month. No purchase or loan necessary.

National Rice Month Scholarship

Deadline: 10/31/20
Available to: High School Seniors
Award Amount: $5,000 The National Rice Month Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors residing in the rice - growing states of Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas. To be considered, you must submit a video of three minutes or less about U.S. rice, National Rice Month, and the importance of rice to you, your state, or the world in general.

Student Transportation Video Contest

Deadline: 11/30/20
Available to: High School Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $500 The Student Transportation Video Contest is open to all students. To enter, you must submit a video of no more than 2.5 minutes that examines transportation impacts, trends or safety in the United States.

ScholarshipPoints $10,000 Scholarship

Deadline: 12/15/20
Available to: High School Juniors through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $10,000 ScholarshipPoints will award a $10,000 scholarship to one lucky member this quarter. All you have to do to become eligible is become a ScholarshipPoints member and log in. It's simple, fun, and completely free!

Express Medical Supply Scholarship

Deadline: 12/30/20
Available to: College Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $500 The Express Medical Supply Scholarship is available to students enrolled at an accredited university or college. You must make and submit an original picture and brief explanation that describes what you would like older people to learn from your generation in order to be considered for this award.

One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest

Deadline: 1/5/21
Available to: Maximum Age of 25
Award Amount: $1,000 The One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest is open to students who are no more than 25 years of age. You must submit a video between three and eight minutes that shares and highlights solutions to the issues discussed in the chosen sustainability topic(s) chosen from the list on the sponsor's website. The film entry’s theme must be solution - based. The film should talk about an environmental / sustainability problem and then discuss what could be a potential solution to this problem. Videos may be submitted by either an individual or a group and animated videos of no more than 45 seconds will also be considered.

The Christophers Video Contest for College Students

Deadline: 1/17/21
Available to: College Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $2,000 The Courageous Persuaders Video Contest is available to high school students. To be considered, you must create a 30 - second television commercial targeted at middle school students to warn them about the dangers of underage drinking or texting while driving.

Paradigm Challenge

Deadline: 05/01/21
Available to: Students up to the age of 18
Award Amount: $100,000 The Paradigm Challenge is open to students up to the age of 18. You may work in a team or alone in creating an original and creative way to help solve real-life problems in homes, schools, communities, and/or around the world. Entries may come in the form of posters, videos, inventions, messages, community events, websites, mobile apps, or anything else that will help save lives. Additionally, you must submit a brief statement of your idea (140 characters or less) in order to qualify for this award.

Prom Pics Contest

Deadline: Varies
Available to: High School Juniors through High School Seniors
Award Amount: $250 The Prom Pics Contest is open to high school students. To be eligible, you must submit a high-resolution photo from your prom event. Prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories: promposal, pre - prom, prom dance, and post - prom.
