DoD SMART Scholarship Program

Deadline: 12/6/24 Award Amount: Full-Tuition Open To: High School Seniors, College Students, Graduate Students The DoD SMART Scholarship Program is available to undergraduate and graduate students. You must be pursuing a technical degree in one of the 21 STEM disciplines, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be able to participate in summer internships, and be willing to accept postgraduate employment at the Department of Defense to be eligible for this award. Recipients of this full-tuition award will also receive an annual stipend of $30,000 to $46,000.

Ayesha Farrukh Scholarship

Deadline: 12/15/24 Award Amount: $2,500 Open To: High School, College Students The Ayesha Farrukh Scholarship is available to full-time high school and college students. You must be a first-generation student who demonstrates leadership potential and a commitment to community service to be eligible for this award. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required.

Interstellar Research Group Undergraduate College Scholarship Program

Deadline: 12/15/24 Award Amount: $2,500 Open To: High School Seniors to College Seniors The Interstellar Research Group Undergraduate College Scholarship Program is open to full-time high school seniors and undergraduate students. You must have been accepted or enrolled in an accredited program in the United States and be majoring in STEM related fields, ecology, social sciences, environmental, business, health, law, agriculture, food sciences, computer science, education, construction and any degrees which can be applied to interstellar space travel missions. In order to be eligible for this award, you must be a resident of the U.S., submit a one page explanation on career goals and a 1,000 – 2,000-word essay on topics related to interstellar travel missions and its application to achieving interstellar missions.

Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship

Deadline: 12/15/24 Award Amount: $3,000 Open To:The Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship is available to students between 13 and 22. The competition tests students' skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications. Top students are invited to represent their respective states at the U.S. National Championship and can compete for financial prizes.

Coolidge Scholarship

Deadline: 12/11/24 Award Amount: Full-Tuition Scholarship Open To: High School Juniors The Coolidge Scholarship is available to high school juniors. You must have a distinguished academic record, show an interest in public policy, and show a sense of humility and service to be considered for this award.

Rubincam Youth Writing Competition

Deadline: 12/15/24 Award Amount: $500 Open To: High School Students The Rubincam Youth Writing Competition is available to high school students. To be considered, you must submit a genealogy in a biographical narrative format for one family line; include four generations, beginning with you as the first generation.

Burger King Scholars Program

Deadline: 12/16/24 Award Amount: $60,000 Open To: High School Seniors The Burger King Scholars Program is open to graduating high school seniors, Burger King employees, and the spouse / domestic partners, and children of employees in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

Fountainhead Essay Contest

Deadline:12/20/24 Award Amount: $25,000 Open To: High School Junior, Seniors The Fountainhead Essay Contest is open to high school juniors and seniors. You must submit an 800 - to 1,600-word - essay on one of the three topics provided on the sponsor's website to be considered for this award.

G2 Overachievers Student Grant

Deadline: 12/30/24 Award Amount: $15,000 Open To: Middle School Students, High School Students The G2 Overachievers Student Grant is available to middle and high school honor roll students between the ages of 13 and 19. To be considered, you must submit a 1,000 – to 2,000-word handwritten essay explaining how you (or the person you are nominating) make a difference in the world around you and why you deserve to be recognized for these efforts.
