The Georgia Secretary of State Internship is available to juniors, seniors, graduate or law students attending a college/university in Georgia or who are residents of the state and have a minimum GPA of 2.75. Internships are offered in the following areas: administration (HR, finance, accounting), information technology, corporations, professional licensing, securities, elections, and front office. To be considered for this opportunity, you must submit a 300-500- word essay discussing your academic work, career aspirations, and how an internship in the Secretary of State’s office will build on your academic work and help you achieve career goals. As an intern, you will get an inside look at how an important state-level agency operates through a 13-16 week internship experience in Atlanta or Macon, Georgia.
