Sports Internship - WGN Radio

Description

The Sports Internship is available to students from Chicago area colleges and universities. You must have at least junior standing, be able to work a variable 40 hour week and have previous radio or other media experience. Preference is given to students familiar with Radio 720 and the Chicago market. Interns will be responsible for various tasks including: coverage of sporting events, answering phones, research, writing and producing stories. Interns may also assist in the production of play-by-play presentations and sports talk shows, including: booking, ideation, screening, audio production, editing, completion of promotional/programming paperwork and special projects.
