Living on Earth Editorial Internship

Description

The Living on Earth Editorial Internship is open to students who are interested in broadcast media. Interns will assist in various phases of story production, from finding and researching original stories and helping track down experienced correspondents, contacts and newsmakers, to critiquing final scripts; monitor news wires and newspapers for environmental affairs; and generate questions for interviews and retrieve archive tape and other source material. You must be able to work two full days per week, have strong writing and communication skills, and submit two writing samples to be eligible for this unpaid internship. Experience in journalism, environmental science, and public policy is helpful but not required.
