The New York Life Insurance Company Actuarial Internship is available to senior-level undergraduate students and to recent graduates of an actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, sciences, economics, or finance program. To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, possess strong communication skills, and have knowledge of modeling packages, programming languages, and spreadsheet/database software. As an intern, your responsibilities may include developing premiums and benefits for new or enhanced insurance products, designing new products and product features, projecting profitability generated by the company's products, preparing studies on financial experience, performing actuarial research and statistical analysis, completing statutory and tax valuation requirements, and building and testing actuarial models. This 12-week internship is offered in Tampa, FL, as a hybrid role.
