Description
The Southwest District Internship is open to students who are at least 18 years of age who are pursuing a career in stewardship of the environment. Internships are available in the Air, Drinking Water, Environmental Resource Permitting, Environmental Assessment and Restoration, Waste Management, and Administration departments. Interns will be provided with a support structure that will include being paired with a mentor who will provide leadership and guidance. Internships will typically require a minimum of eight to 16 hours a week. Applicants must be enrolled in college and are selected on a competitive basis.
