The Safeco Insurance Actuarial Internship is available to students pursuing a degree in mathematics, economics, actuarial science, or a related discipline. To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and possess strong problem-solving, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. As an intern, you will grow your knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products across a wide variety of disciplines, such as reserving, pricing, modeling, and analytics. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with various analyses, such as the preparation of rate level indications, and attend formal trainings to learn critical actuarial concepts.
