The Lockheed Martin Government Affairs Internship is available to students currently pursuing a masters or doctorate degree in defense and strategic studies. To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess excellent academic management, communication, interpersonal, and Microsoft Office skills. Additionally, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. As an intern, you will learn and assist the Space, Strategic & Missile Defense and Technology Programs team in government affairs with interactions in the executive and legislative branches. You will learn policy and program issues related to the portfolio and attend discussions and assist in the team in monitoring hearings, budget discussions, and policy initiatives for the team. You will serve in this capacity for a year that typically mirrors the calendar year and congressional budget cycle. This internship is offered in Arlington, VA.
