Description

The Walt Disney World Workforce Management Industrial Engineering Internship is available to students 18 years of age and older who are earning a college/university degree in industrial engineering, data science, or a related field. To be considered for this role, you should possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, or Dataiku and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. As an intern, you will apply technical skills, statistics and analytics to support the forecasting and planning of Walt Disney World labor in changing business conditions. Types of analyses include forecasting, allocation, benchmarking, what-if scenarios, and impact quantification. You will analyze and model labor-related data using various mathematical and statistical approaches and will develop analyses and models to assess labor needs and measure the effectiveness of forecasting and planning. This internship is offered in Lake Buena Vista, FL, during the spring.
