Description

The Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Editorial Internship is available to rising junior, senior, and graduate students who are 18 years of age and older. To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, a passion for sports and a strong interest in storytelling, demonstrate a knowledge of and active participation in social media as a news tool, and be detail-oriented. Familiarity with Adobe Premiere (or similar) video editing software is a plus. As an intern, you will assist the sports newsgathering team by watching events and press conferences, then alerting key moments and soundbites for the network to use on linear and digital platforms. You will monitor social media for daily news reactions, statements, and fresh video elements and will provide support to the CNN World Sport show team by creating graphic elements, transcribing interviews, researching stories, and gathering video elements for edit. You will also coordinate daily game recordings by monitoring video quality and router sources, copyedit anchor scripts and network banners, and assist with basic administrative and production tasks. This internship is offered in Atlanta, GA, during the fall.
