Description

The Michael Baker Civil Engineering Internship is available to sophomore-level and above undergraduate students pursuing a degree in civil engineering or related fields. To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and possess strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office. AutoCAD or MicroStation design software is preferred). As an intern, you will work under the direction of a project engineer or project manager to prepare transportation/ structural bridge plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates. You may also have the opportunity to work on-site under the direction of a Construction Manager assisting with and documenting construction inspection activities, researching and solving problems in the field, and assuring conformance to plans/specifications.
