WDI Estimating Internship-PAID

Description

The WDI Estimating Internship is available to junior and senior-level undergraduate students 18 years of age and older majoring in construction management, construction engineering, architecture or engineering. To be considered for this role, you should have knowledge of estimating techniques and cost controls, be able to interpret computerized cost data and systems, have proficiency in PC programs, and be able to read and interpret construction drawings. As an intern, you will review and incorporate historical cost data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into estimates. You will assist in preparing estimates by calculating complete takeoffs of a project scope of work and will maintain files for all working documents and data as back up to estimate figures. You will also assist in evaluating all design documentation and provide trend estimates and analyses against current EFC/Budget estimate during design phase. This internship is offered in Glendale, CA, during the fall.
