L3Harris Manufacturing Engineering Internship-PAID

Description

The L3Harris Manufacturing Engineering Internship is available to undergraduates who are majoring in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science engineering, industrial engineering or related fields. To be considered for this role, you should have knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, AutoCAD and/or Pro-E, Six Sigma, technical writing, MS Project and/or MS SharePoint. As an intern, you will design develop and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems. You will implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects, develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes, interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products, and maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. You will also estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. This internship is offered in Fall River, MA, during the summer and fall.
