Communication and Outreach Internship - PAID

Description

The Communication and Outreach Internship is open to students who are at least 18 years of age. Interns will create and edit materials like press releases, newsletters, and social media posts, help with media relations, including preparing materials for journalists and tracking media coverage, assist in organizing events and work with team to engage the community in local government activities, work with team to gather a variety of b-roll and photos of life in Clayton., support various communication projects, from public awareness campaigns to emergency responses, and other duties as necessary. Interns should possess a basic knowledge of the communication field and many of the technical abilities required by the field; possess the ability to work with a team of people; possess a willingness to work hard and achieve goals in order to be considered for this internship.
