Description

The U.S. News and Word Report Editorial Summer Internship is available to sophomore-level and above undergraduate students and to graduate students of any level who are majoring in journalism, communications, digital audiences, and/or marketing. To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, possess strong communication skills, be familiar with AP style, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. As an intern, you will get to participate in the ideation and publication of content on a variety of subjects, from travel, to healthcare, to buying a home, to planning for college, and more – plus you’ll assist the team with editorial tasks such as research, fact-checking and asset collection. You’ll also learn about content strategy – not just producing articles, infographics and interactives that read well and look good, but ensuring that the content reaches and resonates with an intended audience. This internship is offered in Washington, DC.
