Description

The Library of Congress High School Summer Internship is available to high school students 16 years of age and older who have Interest in libraries and museums, working with peer audiences, research and writing, exhibition development, outreach, public speaking and public programming. To be considered for this opportunity, you must submit a 500-word maximum statement detailing your interest in the program and relevant experience as well as a resume and writing sample. Through this four-week internship you will learn about the Library of Congress (LOC), and help the Center for Learning, Literacy and Engagement develop and create content to support family and youth engagement in a new exhibition space in the LOC. This program is offered in Washington, DC, during the summer.
