Description
The Summer Garden Internship is open to students from Watertown who are between the ages of 12 and 19. Interns are responsible for learning and using their learning to take care of the school gardens at the Middle School, Cunniff, Hosmer, and Lowell schools. Interns can expect to complete tasks like watering, weeding, pollinating, soil testing, plant identification, and more. Practical hours in the garden will be supplemented with educational outings to other garden sites as well as sessions with local experts on garden ecology.
