NCDOT HBCU/MSI Internship-PAID

Description

The NCDOT HBCU/MSI Internship is available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students who are residents of North Carolina and have completed at least 24 credit hours at a North Carolina HBCU/MSI. To be considered for an internship, you should have innovative ideas for enhancing NCDOT programs and initiatives, exceptional communication and organization skills, an interest in working on state government reform efforts, and the flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously​. As an intern, you will gain valuable work experience at NCDOT and learn what a career in the transportation industry can offer. Essential components of the internship include professional development workshops on resume building, business writing, and networking. This 10-week program is offered during the summer.
