The GM Creative Product Designer Internship is available to undergraduate students who are pursuing a degree in industrial design, product design, transportation design, or related fields. To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess strong 2D and 3D communication skills and have a portfolio that supports your creativity as a designer. As an intern, your responsibilities will include creating original design ideas, making perspective sketches and renderings in scale and full size sufficient to communicate new design ideas, developing 2D and 3D mock-ups, and working with studio engineers, modelers, other designers and service and fabrication personnel in the development of new ideas.
