Description

The Nordstrom Data Science Internship is available to graduate students who are majoring in mathematics, statistics, computer science, analytics, or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you should have two+ years of full-time industry work experience, which occurred between the graduation date from your undergraduate program and prior to starting your master’s program. You should also have experience with languages used for querying, pre-processing, and statistical analysis as well as with regression modeling, prediction, forecasting, and time series analysis. As an intern, you will build predictive models and algorithms and apply them to solve business problems and work collaboratively with other data scientists and analysts to research, design, and implement production-level, scalable code, and algorithms. You will also conduct exploratory data analyses, apply statistical methods to data outputs, and visualize your findings in a compelling way. This internship is offered in Seattle, WA, for a duration of 10 weeks during the summer. Housing is provided.
