The U.S. Social Video Internship at The Wall Street Journal is available to college juniors, seniors and graduate students. To be considered for this role, you should be a self-starter, work well under pressure, have deep knowledge of video-driven social platforms, and possess excellent writing and editing skills. You should also be comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite video editing software. As an intern, you will produce vertical videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat. You will be involved in all steps of production: conceptualization, reporting, scripting, shooting, editing and distributing. You will work with reporters and editors around the newsroom, as well as the video team to create engaging short, social-first breaking news and original videos.
