Description

The MD Anderson Cancer Center Summer Undergraduate Research Program is available to undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of college-level courses in one or more science programs (biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics or computer science). Students who are considering pursuing an advanced degree (Ph.D., M.D. or both) and are interested in scientific investigation would benefit most from the program. As an intern, you will perform hands-on scientific research directed by faculty and clinical observation in interventional radiology, radiation oncology, breast and melanoma medical oncology, nuclear medicine, and IPCT. You will also have access to lecture and workshops and will give an end of the program research project presentation. Interns are given a stipend of $6,000.
