Description

The IRC Community Resource Navigator Internship is available to first-year graduate students who are pursuing a degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. To be considered for this opportunity, you should be comfortable working with refugees and asylees who have experienced complex trauma related to war and violence, have a demonstrated understanding of implementing trauma informed practices, and understand how to critically examine and implement relevant evidence-based practices. Additionally, you should possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and databases. As an intern, you will assist with eligibility and pre-screening flow, triaging needs of new enrollments, and managing referrals across tiered model of the Survivor Wellness Center program. You will also assist with data collection, building out resources, research and engage in community partnership outreach, and help clients to navigate services. This internship is offered in Denver, CO.
