The Envision Energy Conceptual Blade Design Internship is available to graduate students and to exceptional senior-level undergraduate students who are majoring in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or a similar field. To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess strong programming skills, enjoy applying creativity in solving technical issues, be self-motivated, and communicate effectively. Additionally, you should have an interest in renewable energy, aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, composite structures, numerical modelling and simulation (CFD / FEA), numerical optimization, machine learning and computer programming. As an intern, your duties may include: 2D airfoil design support, wind tunnel testing, associated tool development, blade design support, wind turbine aero-elastic loads, and controls analysis support. This internship is offered in Boulder, CO.
