Description

The WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital Undergraduate Internship is available to undergraduate students at Washington State University and the University of Idaho who are enrolled in a pre-veterinary program. Preference will be given to sophomore and junior-level students. As an intern, you will work a minimum of six hours per week, learning valuable skills and gaining experience you can put to use in veterinary school and beyond. Large animal clinic rotations include: agricultural animal, barn crew, equine medicine, and equine surgery. Small animal clinic rotations include: anesthesia, community practice, exotics, and neurology. Students will also rotate through oncology and small animal medicine, one-two services of their choice, and act as mentors to the incoming interns.
