The United Rentals Diesel Mechanic Internship is available to students pursuing a technical degree or certification. To be considered for this internship, you should hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, possess a strong mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of tools and equipment, be self-motivated, and have superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills. As an intern, you will learn the various types of equipment that United Rentals rents and their applications. You will also learn both manual and maintenance tasks to support the branch operation, as well as, provide labor assistance to seasoned mechanics. If you have the desire and ambition, you'll have the potential to work towards service technician roles in the service department upon receipt of degree and/or certification.
