Description
The Landmark Medical Center Student Nurse Internship is available to nursing students enrolled in accredited program. You must be within one year of completing the program to be eligible for this internship. As an intern, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) providing care to a diverse population of patients. Responsibilities will include assisting both the RN and the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with activities of daily living, basic nursing care to patients, and assisting in the maintenance of a safe environment for both patients and staff. Additionally, you will with the collection of baseline and on-going assessment data, basic interventions, and the evaluation of the patient response to interventions. This eight-week internship is offered in Woonsocket, RI.
