People Incorporated Mental Health Services Outpatient Internship

The People Incorporated Mental Health Services Internship is available to graduate students who are enrolled in a behavioral sciences program with clinical orientation. To be considered for this internship, you should have previous experience working with or knowledge of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, chemical dependency, developmental disabilities, and/or other health conditions. Preference will be given to applicants who have worked with at risk or underserved communities. As an intern, your responsibilities will include developing an understanding of supporting clients using a person-centered approach, performing assessments, providing psycho-education, individual therapy sessions, clear and timely documentation, delivering individualized and/or collaborative care plans of care consistent with client goals and objectives as well as collaborating with other team members on client care. This internship is offered in Coon Rapids, MN, during the fall.
