Description

The Rock the Vote Remote Internship is available to students with an interest or experience in research and public policy, voting rights and social justice issues, civic engagement and partnerships, social media, marketing, events, and campaigns and elections. To be considered for an internship, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, be detail-oriented, learn quickly, be able to work well with diverse team members, be flexible, and possess strong critical thinking and leadership skills. Preference will be given to students who reflect diversity, including students who identify as BIPOC, female, living with a disability, or as LGBTQ+ as well as students who are immigrants or are from low-income/working-class backgrounds. As an intern, your responsibilities may include managing constituency communications, creating social media content and ads to improve SEO, drafting press kit materials and fact sheets, blogging about timely and relevant political issues, and assisting with the creation of voter education programs.
